A friend told me that he had a secret arm---the newest onboard computer produced by the national top manufacturer, in his car 307 Peugeot long ago, but I had no time to see. The day before yesterday he called me that his machine needed to be updated and asked me to have a look at it. Really a good chance!!!

I loved it the first eye on it. Onboard computer has developed for a long time. From the original multimedia system to navigation system to with operation system, it is developing in the more overall and more intelligent directions. But there’s regret in the market onboard computer. For example, the host computer takes large room and it has radiating and steady problem---but this HIINFO N5 series onboard computer is quite different from those.
As the installation was simple, I asked the engineer to demonstrate it for me. He told me that guarantee the safe and normal work of car itself is the most important for installing the onboard computer. So the first thing was to turn off the power and take out of the car battery negative to avoid the damage because of short-circuit.

Next was to take down the panel of the dashboard. There were two screws below the two buttons above the dashboard. Use the flat screwdriver.

There were other two screws on the adjusting part of the air conditioner, also below the original empty din. After taking out of the two, the upper frame could be taken down. But before this, we need to take down the below half part first.

The two screws on the adjusting part of air conditioner were to firm the down panel of the dashboard, which of course need to be taken down.

Turn over the feather gear cover, then the below half part of panel could be taken down

There were wire circuits to connect the up part of dashboard panel, so don’t go at it too hard.

Look! The hero--- 2-DIN-size N5 series onboard computer.

When install the onboard computer, you just need to take out the former sound and connect the power and audio port to N5. Really simple!

Notice: the ACC of N5 is different from the former sound settings. ACC provides 12V power, so wrong connection or not-connection could not provide power. We can get it from the part below the steering wheel.

The green one is ACC. Connect it with the ACC end on N5 onboard computer.

Then connect the GPS Mouse. It’s in an unexpected place.

Of course, we need to install the panel and decorations well.

Look at the panel plug shape. Don’t go at it too hard as it’s plastic.

After installation we can recover the battery negative. And the original time show should be reset.

Look at the tools, just two screwdrivers!

From the scene, we can see that N5 host computer has no postposition host computer or extra power part. It’s standard 2DIN module, easy to install. From the configuration, 600MHz ULV processor is very steady during operation.

Besides, the onboard computer has the following advantages: 1. N5 series onboard computer can melts into car body with no extra host computer or long outer-connection wire.
